The Stronghold of Security was released in July 2006 in a major system update. The Stronghold of Security is in a dungeon area, where you basically answer security-related questions. You are protected from monsters by connecting doors as you answer questions. The security-related questions are related to things like protecting passwords and keeping others from stealing your account. The questions only require common sense to complete. Doing the stronghold can be a good way to get some quick cash and many players start new accounts because they're especially to do the Stronghold of Security. Please note that you must set your recovery questions in order to complete the whole Stronghold of Security.

- Goblins are found on the 1st level

I'm not sure how low your combat level can be in order to complete the stronghold without getting killed, but I suggest you have a combat level of 8-9 and a combat level of 20 for the last level. You must set your recovery questions in order to complete the Stronghold of Security. You should take with you plenty of food (some cooked chicken or cooked meat would do nicely) and three pieces of armour (e.g. a platebody, platelegs and a square shield).

- Gift of Piece (2000 gp reward)

The stronghold is located at the centre of the Barbarian Village, where a hole is the entrance. Simply right click on the hole and choose to climb down. After each level you will receive money (2000, 3000 and 5000 gp respectively). You should deposit this money into the bank after you receive it to be safe, just in case you lose it.

If you only want money from the Stronghold of Security, you should stop after you open the "Box of Health" (collecting 5000 gp) as there will be no more money. Altogether, you would have earned 10,000 gp.

Players can complete the last level of the stronghold as well. The reward is a choice between fighting boots or fancy boots, and an emote. Fighting boots are only a little bit better than leather boots, so you should decide if it's worth your time. You can also obtain a sceptre piece if you defeat certain monsters (mostly the Ankou, combat level 75-86).

- The scorpions on the 3rd level will attack you, so watch out!

I recommend that you consult a map to find the easiest possible route. This is not very important in the 1st level because none of the monsters are aggressive, but in the rest of levels the monsters are aggressive and are at a much higher level, so you want to be hit as little as possible.
