RuneScape Weapons
Wielding the correct weapons helps you deal more damage and gives you better chances against monsters. Weapons includes any items that can be equipped and provides attack bonuses during combat. Weapons comes in varieties for each combat class. There are several types of weapons which we will discuss.
To attain the items listed, players must either trade other players for them or kill monsters for them. Trading with other players includes using the Grand Exchange to buy items. The Grand Exchange is where you will find the cheapest items in one handy location. Take advantage of this as much as you can because Jagex may decide to remove this feature.
Melee Weapons
We will go through all the different types of melee weapons. All weapons have advantages in certain melee styles.
Stab: This attack style is effective against chainmail and leather armour.
Slash: This is effective against leather armour, cloth armour (like wizard or monk robes) and unarmoured opponents.
Crush: This is effective against platebodies.
